Christian Motorcycle Ministries - Start A Rumble In Your Church
Our mission is to share the love of Christian fellowship, motorcycles and the local church through safety, excellence and service. We work with and through the local church to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship through frequent, safe, and well-organized group motorcycle rides.
Fellowship Riders Inc Managing Board 2013
I have been immeasurably blessed by having been involved with Fellowship Riders in varied responsibilities since 2004; founder of Fellowship Riders of 1st Baptist Church-Lewisville, TX and FRI Board Member since 2008.
From my very first encounter with Jeff Means and several of the founding members, I caught the God-inspired vision for Fellowship Riders and am humbled how the Lord has used Fellowship Riders to accomplish His purpose of reaching into the rider community through the body of Christ, the local church. The testimonies of affiliates recounting how they have ministered to the sick, lifted the spirits of a child, visited the prisoner, met financial needs, provided food for the hungry, and brought the lost to the Amazing Grace of our Savior remind me of Matthew 25: 40 "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
I believe that the Lord has positioned Fellowship Riders to reap a harvest planted these many years ago and that His hand will be clearly seen in the days ahead. My prayers are with all our affiliates - present and future - as we continue to seek the Lord's unfolding plan for Fellowship Riders "Powered by Christ".
Hello I am Dennis Freeman,
I have been riding motorcycles since I was fourteen years old. My first motorcycle was a Yamaha Enduro 125; wore the wheels off of it literally.
My first experience with ministry was handing out gospel tracts with my mother, Joy Wadley, on street corners and door to door on Thursday nights in Graham Texas as a youngster, barely old enough to ride my bicycle to school. So, ministry is in my blood, soul and spirit. Don't get me wrong. I've had my fair share of party years. I fell away for 20 years or so. Serving the wrong god. Doing drugs and drinking. Came close to losing my freedom many, many times. But, this scripture comes down to truth!!!
My vision for Fellowship Riders is to teach those to serve God who may have never, "stepped up to the plate". Maybe their scared or nervous to tell others about Christ. I can remember the first prison ministry I went on 4 yrs. ago. I was scared to death. But, after the Holy Spirit began using me, it was a wonderful and powerful ride. Kinda like rid'in a motorcycle for the first time. After that, YOUR HOOKED! Just remember this: We have all been called according to "His purpose."Romans 9:17 "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." Blessings, Jeff Wadley (Hope Fellowship Riders)
Loving motorcycles all my life, rode some as a child into my teens until an accident as a passenger with my step-father caused me to fear not being caged in. March of 2011 did it all, took the course to get my Motorcycle endorsement, got my endorsement and purchased my first Harley!
As a young child, I would stand outside our home and get on any church bus that would stop on Sunday morning and pick me up and take me to Sunday school. In the sixth grade I attended an evening church service when an Evangelist came to a small church in Camden, Arkansas it was then became a born again believer in Jesus. Wondering in and out of churches most of my childhood and teen years.
January of 1991, met my husband, married him in June of that year. We were of the world for the first 3 or 4 years of our marriage. We attended many different churches for years but, as the years went on we found ourselves driving 100 miles (2 hours) to attend New Beginnings Christian Church in Portland, Oregon but, after 10 years there; God had put on my heart that we were to move to Texas but I was not sure how this move was to come about. About then our pastor announced he was going to found his 7th church in the DFW Metroplex.
We packed up and moved to help found this church, but after a few years, God said it was time to move on. We started attending Hope Fellowship Church in Irving, Texas off and on for the last 3 years. I have only been involved with Fellowship Riders for a short time; I have a sweet and gentle spirit and a love for God and Jesus Christ. If you ask me I will tell you I am a Judeo Christian.
When approached with the idea of being part of the Managing Board of Directors; I prayerfully went before God for his guidance and approval. I am honored and excited to see what the Lord has for Fellowship Riders Inc., in the near future. Shalom Lisha Lambert.
Hi, my name is Mark Martin. I have been riding with the Fellowship Riders in Lubbock, TX. since about the third ride they went on back in 2005. In 2007 I became the director of Fellowship Riders Lubbock and continued until 2011 when I stepped aside as director due to some family health issues. My wife LuAnn and I are active with the Lubbock group and ride when we have a chance. We have always been a ministering group here in Lubbock. We are involved in Angel Tree, Prison Ministry and Feeding the Homeless. We go and minister where ever God calls us. Satan we are not scared, For we are powered by Christ. What a great organization to be involved with, loving Jesus and riding motorcycles. It don’t get much better than that. Ron called and asked if I would consider serving on the Board of Directors and after careful thought and prayer I accepted the position. I hope to continue serving FRI as it serves the Lord Jesus Christ. I will pray for FRI and its affiliates on a regular basis and hold up in prayer our President Ron Kidwell. It is a pleasure to serve under Ron because Ron is serving our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. God Bless, Mark
