Fellowship Riders Welcomes Their New President |
Ron Kidwell
President of Fellowship Riders, Inc.
I have been immeasurably blessed by having been involved with Fellowship Riders in varied responsibilities since 2004; founder of Fellowship Riders of 1st Baptist Church-Lewisville, TX and FRI Board Member since 2008.
From my very first encounter with Jeff Means and several of the founding members, I caught the God-inspired vision for Fellowship Riders and am humbled how the Lord has used Fellowship Riders to accomplish His purpose of reaching into the rider community through the body of Christ, the local church. The testimonies of affiliates recounting how they have ministered to the sick, lifted the spirits of a child, visited the prisoner, met financial needs, provided food for the hungry, and brought the lost to the Amazing Grace of our Savior remind me of Matthew 25: 40 "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
I believe that the Lord has positioned Fellowship Riders to reap a harvest planted these many years ago and that His hand will be clearly seen in the days ahead. My prayers are with all our affiliates - present and future - as we continue to seek the Lord's unfolding plan for Fellowship Riders "Powered by Christ".

New Motorcycle Ministry in Town... |
|
Prague, OK is famous for
its Kolache Festival and homemade kolaches. Now there is a new rumble in town.
Faith Bible Church is proud to announce the formation of a motorcycle ministry
that is now the newest affiliate of the Fellowship Riders, Inc.
Fellowship Riders, Inc. is
a separate non-profit organization which affiliates with the local church. Once
affiliated, the church operates its Fellowship Riders group as one of its own
ministries. The ministry of the group is to strengthen each other in faith,
Christian bonding and to pursue outreach with church members and non-members
alike. This makes for stronger church members and deepens the faith of those
involved in the ministry and its outreach efforts.
The Faith Fellowship
Riders went on their maiden voyage on Saturday, July 17. Seven motorcycles and
sixteen adventurous people took a trip down historic Route 66. Along our 140
mile journey we made a stop at the historic Round Barn in Arcadia, OK, which
was constructed in 1898 and was restored and dedicated in 1992.
